Best practices we recommend are -

DO: apply for a developer's edition of the Cube-IQ GUI to help with defining your data

DO: Validate your JSON or XML before sending to the API

DO: Provide the optimization call with webhooks. Set up webhooks to be notified of optimization progress and completion. This would be in preference to polling the API

DON'T: rely upon the service to find your data errors

DON'T: poll the API more than once per second
